Cypress Pine, Mungo Brush National Park.

This dead Cypress captures the struggle it faced through its difficult life, now long gone. Each limb twisted and bent as it grew in seasons of flooding rains and persistent droughts. The thick trunk wound slowly up from the poor sandy soil and stood the test of time.
