This painting is a reflection of my time as a young girl spent in my grandmother’s garden, full of heady scents and vibrant colours. It was here that I found my love of gardening, through Nan’s encouragement and patience, I learnt much about life, love and nurturing plants through her stories and laughter. As memories fade, spending time in my own garden is a reminder of the love she gave.
