My love story is about friendship. Friendships that go back to our high school years and that have been through it all. All the firsts, love, heartbreak, births of our babies, passing of parents, weddings, divorce, holidays, milestone birthdays, tears. Laughter. Lots and lots of laughter. I went to the beautiful island of Maui a few years ago to celebrate a milestone birthday for a very dear friend. Three of us on that trip have been friends since high school and it was truely wonderful. We laughed, we cried, we danced, we sung and we just appreciated where we were now at in our lives. Maui has since provided endless inspiration for my artwork and each time I paint the beautiful palms and and mountains I think of these two special forever friends.
